Request a consultationNetwork operations
Develop practical monitoring, first-line diagnosis, incident coordination and escalation skills for networked services.
Track overview
This track introduces the operational view of connectivity and availability. Learners may work with simulated dashboards and lab networks to understand alarms, service impact, interface health, latency, packet loss, dependency mapping and the records needed for reliable escalation.
This is an expression-of-interest track. Final scope, schedule, supervision, selection and availability are confirmed only for an approved internship engagement.
Focus areas
Learning outcomes
Supervised practice
Activities use approved labs, sample data or specifically authorised environments. They are adapted to the learner’s current ability and the available supervision.
Review simulated monitoring alarms and identify likely service impact
Trace connectivity through a documented lab topology
Create an incident checklist for link, device or service degradation
Write a shift handover that distinguishes active issues from observation items
Useful foundations
You do not need to know everything already. Use these foundations to show how you have prepared and where you want guided practice.
Who this may suit
Students interested in monitoring, network support and infrastructure operations
Learners comfortable following runbooks while investigating anomalies
Candidates who communicate clearly during time-sensitive technical work
